About My Practice
I am a Stanford-trained licensed psychologist with extensive background in organizational leadership who specializes in working with adults motivated to improve their mood, functioning, and life satisfaction. I partner with each client to set individualized goals for a shared journey of recovery and growth in a warm, supportive environment.
Therapy is usually a short-term, collaborative endeavor focused on the here and now. I show clients how to manage distressful situations and challenging personal issues using evidence-based, cognitive and behavioral tools that can be deployed effectively long after psychotherapy is concluded.
I have extensive expertise working with professionals in fast-paced industries. I am also trained in health psychology, which treats mental health conditions occurring in the context of chronic diseases such as diabetes. I embrace a multicultural approach to therapy and can offer services in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
For therapists, I provide supervision and training in the TEAM-CBT model of psychotherapy.
