About My Practice

I am the co-founder of the Good Life Center for Mental Health, a center that focuses on evidence based methods to assist clients towards meeting their therapeutic goals,  As a licensed clinical social worker,  I strongly believe that everyone deserves to have a self- fulfilling life filled with pride, joy and meaningful connections. I rely on therapeutic strategies to help clients manage the internal dialogue that prevents them from experiencing feelings of competence, self worth and connection. I viewed my clients as experts on themselves and their experience, and their active participation throughout the therapeutic process is vital for change to take place. I encourage my clients to envision their every day life as a path where positive thoughts can lead the way towards attaining personal goals. I have over 25 years of experience working in mental health and have assist clients struggling with  depression, anxiety, intrusive thoughts and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and relationship difficulties.

In addition to TEAM CBT certifications, I am also certified in CBT I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia) and EMDR (Levels I and II). I am fully bilingual and can provide services in Spanish.  Having lived in other countries and immigrated to the United States as a young adult, I recognize the impact of multicultural issues and acculturation in mental health functioning.
