Dr. Katz is Director and founder of the Feeling Good Institute, a treatment and training center in advanced cognitive and behavioral therapy (CBT). He is an Adjunct Clinical Faculty Member in the Department of Psychiatry at The Stanford Medical Center Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He serves as an instructor for Stanford’s Psychiatry Residency Program. He supervises residents, local practitioners and graduate students, both individually and in seminars at Stanford. Dr. Katz obtained a medical degree from the Hadassah-Hebrew University School of Medicine in Jerusalem Israel and a postdoctoral fellowship with Stanford University’s School of Medicine. Maor has many scientific publications in the fields of anxiety and resilience and has won several national prizes for neuroscience research and teaching excellence.
